Dr.C.Amutha charu sheela, Assistant Professor, English at Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Sriperumpudur, has 23 years of teaching experience at the College level and has been teaching English Language and Management papers for Engineering students. She holds PhD from Madras University Chennai. Her research focuses on the impact of communalism and religious fundamentalism in contemporary Indian English fiction. She has presented many papers at the national and international conferences and to her credit more than fifteen research papers published in reputed books and journals with good professional front. Her research interest lies in Violence in Literature, Theatre studies, Diaspora Literature and Eco Literature and Memory studies. She is a member of IACLALS and Indian Association for the study of Australia (IASA).
